When you break a sweat during your HYPOXI session, look fabulous when you leave the studio! We’ve got you covered with our guide to post-workout beauty essentials. Keep these items in your workout bag and as they say: ‘look good, feel good’.

1. Maintain Your Mane

Essentials: dry shampoo, bobby pins, hair elastics and a comb.

If you’ve squeezed a workout during your lunch break, return back to your office with a polished hairstyle. Have on hand some dry shampoo to freshen up the roots of your hair and rid any excess oil that may have built up during your workout. If you want an easy hairdo, comb your hair up in to a sleep ponytail or a polished ballerina bun.  Braids are also a great option for post-workout hair as they hold better when hair is textured and can easily hide hair fly-aways.

2. Start With a Blank Canvas

Essential: skin cleansing wipes

As you would have broken a sweat, you don’t want to clog your pores and cause a breakout  so cleanse and refresh your face. Carry some cleansing wipes in your bag- they are easy, quick and will leave your skin feeling fabulous.

3. Protect Your Skin

Essential: tinted moisturizer with SPF

After you have cleansed your skin, apply a tinted moisturizer to even out your skin tone and hide any blemishes. It’s always best to find a tinted moisturizer that contains SPF in it so that you’re gorgeous face will be protected from the sun’s harsh UV rays. Remember as well, that you don’t need to apply a lot of product to your face- too much will leave your face shinier than the sun so only use an amount that is about the size of a ten cent coin.

4. Smell Fresh as a Daisy

Essential: deoderant and perfume

You would be surprise as to how many people forget basic HYGIENE 101. Do your part for humanity and apply deodorant to mask your post-workout scent.  Make sure you apply generously under your arms and in any sweat zones from your workout.

5. Bat Those Eyelids

Essential: volumising mascara

Now that you’ve got your face sorted, make your eyes pop by applying some mascara. The more coats you apply, the more dramatic your lashes will appear so apply as you see fit. Don’t forget to batter those eyes when you’re done!

6. Pucker Up

Essential: lip balm

Get luscious lips with a fantastic lip balm that will moisturize and gloss that pout of yours. If you want a hint of colour, go for a light peach tint to keep that fresh, au naturel look.
